| Well, today we had a work party that I wasn't really looking forward to going to. Mom told me that I really needed to go. I knew she was right. Anyway, I asked Kelly if she wanted to go with me and she said "yes". The funny thing is, today was one of the worst days at work, as far as getting along with my co-workers. Me and this one girl got into an argument in the laundry room. We were short-handed, etc. I really didn't even want to stay for the party but I did. I was going to leave as soon as the steaks were ready. When they brought in the steaks our boss said that he had a couple of awards to hand out. I had no idea......He started by saying "This next person, no matter what is going on, the hotel could be burning down, laundry piled to the roof, only one person working that day, and this person is still joking, making everyone laugh and ready to get it done" and that person was me. Reward for the BEST ATTITUDE!!!! Who would have thunk it? |
